Need for speed: Hot pursuit will be released any day now, and we have a live action trailer showing how the multiplayer world of police vs racers will work. Although rest is all live action but the HUDs and video chat will show you how its all intended to work in real game. check it out:
In the last Burnout: Paradise game they made, one thing although subtle but I really loved was the webcam usage. Everytime you won the race or destroyed your opponent car, his webcam will take a pic of u /him and show it to other person. This gave you real expressions of how he felt at that time. Multiplayer has always been about "pwning" others, and seeing the face of ur opoonent as he got owned was priceless. Hot Pursuit AutoLog looks to expand on that experience and feature video captures, which will be awesome and should be done more in multiplayer games (despite the bandwith limitations).
